∙ About Enrique ∙
Born, raised, and based in Chicago, Illinois; Enrique Landa is a theatre artist with a draw towards theatrical costuming. He just recently finished his baccalaureate degree at Loyola University Chicago with majors in Theatre and Music, and a minor in Musical Theatre. During his time at Loyola, Enrique held a work-study position as a costume technician at the Loyola Department of Fine and Performing Arts costume shop under his costuming mentor and costume shop manager, Theresa Ham.
Enrique found an inclination for costume design and technology through Loyola's liberal arts approach to their theatre major. In response, he has began to undertake learning various skills in patterning, draping, tailoring, and designing costumes for the stage.
"I know I can't do everything, but for the short time—in theory—that I've been alive, I have found that I sure can do a lot."
