A project to repair an overcoat that was lacking a lining and had damaged interfacing. I placed the coat inside out on a form to align some paper in a draping-like fashion to mark out preliminary parts of a pattern and then laid the overcoat on a table to pounce wheel the pattern. Finally, I true-d the pattern up to cut out a lining for the overcoat.

Points in which I was challenged:

• Figuring out a way to make a pattern for the lining.

  • I decided to try two methods as mentioned above to then compare and contrast and achieve a final pattern.
